Jerry Reed, at 71, complications of emphysema. I thought he was great, he will be missed.

The "Snowman" put the hammer down for the last time. Great performer. Sad to see him go.:(

It is too bad...I always like Jerry Reed. Ironically we just watched 'Gator' a couple of nights ago. I guess he and Burt were pretty good friends which speaks to some of the movies they did together.
Who could forget "when you're hot you're hot"
Sorry to see him go.

Sad news. :( He was a gifted musician and all around funny guy. I will miss Jerry Reed for sure.

There's quite a few videos of Jerry on youtube. Check out the ones of him and Chet Atkins. Good stuff.
