I am new to this foruma nd indeed this whole outboard thing - so any help much appreciated (and apologies in advance for my novice questions, I guess we all have to start somewhere)
1. I have purchased an Evinrude second hand which is model BE6 RESR - but cannot find any information on the web re the date / details of this model. I know it is short shaft 2 stroke 6HP - the rest is a mystery
2. I need to buy a fuel tank for this (as there is no integral one) 0 are these all standard re size and connection ?
3. I read somewhere that for the fuel mix it is best to use specific outboard oil ? I assume that the petrol is just normal unleaded ?
