I'm trying to locate the above part. The hood gasket, or cowl gasket, or whatever you want to call it, that goes around the base of the hood and seals water out of the engine compartment. Iboats doesn't have it. Ebay doesn't have it. Does anyone know where I might be able to find this online? Thanks.

May have to try that, TD. I've contacted every online store I can find, and no replies yet, though I just did it yesterday, so I may get some feedback yet. In any case, what's happening is that with the gasket shot, the hood is sitting down on my motor, and it's spinning against the fiberglass hood, causing lots of shavings in there. I doubt if it's hurting the motor, but I can hear it clicking against the hood when it's spinning, which drives me nuts. Just the little things that come with an older motor. I've dealt with a lot worse. Thanks for the reply.
