I have a Mercury 6 HP motor.The serial number is 0G207673.Would someone please tell me the year of engine and if it is a long or short shaft.Thank you.
Measure from the point where the clamp bracket would sit on the transom to the cav plate, vertically. 15" is standard shaft (incorrectly called short shaft) and 20" is long shaft.
