sluggish at low rpm

my 1990 force 50 (507e). went out other day, she started and ran fine but on restart was sluggish at low rpm but at 30% throttle and above she ran fine. tried fresh fuel, no improvement. runs evenly on both pots. thinking it might be carb or posssible air leak. HELP....my vacations dwindling away :confused:

Could be a plugged carb.

Start the engine, then try turning the idle mixture screw counterclockwise, 3 full turns.
Then turn it back in, 2 3/4 turns.


If that doesn't do it, carb rebuild, clean out the fuel recirculation lines.
