I can't remember, does each tick mark on the timing tab equal one degree or two degrees?

Small block Chevy.

Thanks, Ken

SBC ,2 degrees for each mark. A stock type motor from mid 70's on with a vac canister.. Disconnect vac hose, and in most cases look for total advance of around 32 degrees at 2500- 3000 rpm. Thats just a general guide line , don't know what type of sbc you have......cheers
