I'm looking at a 1999 Wellcraft Excel 2100 SL powered by a V8 Volvo. It is a pretty clean boat and the asking price is 10,995. Would love to hear some feedback about:
-any experience with this boat
-what would be a fair price to pay

Thanks to everyone in advance for the help!

11 might be a tad high for a 99.....it really depends on the condition of the boat.....where was it stored....garage or out doors......salt or fresh?

Thx for a quick response! The boat is in good condition. No tears in seats, clean cuddy cabin etc, no gel coat bubbles etc... It is most likely been run in fresh water it's entire life as it is sitting at a boat dealer in ohio. I would imagine it was kept in the water because the bottom is painted.

I had a 1996 Wellcraft Excell 21 ft bowrider and it was overall a very sound and fast boat. It was a little narrow for my liking, but I am 6'1 and about 230lbs. It also rode a bit bow high until I installed smart tabs which cured that problem. The down side on it for me was the white interior which was a pain to keep clean. The top of the windshield was also right at my sight line which kept me sitting on a throw cushion. I never had any problems with it in the 8 monts I had it and actually made money on it when I sold it two years ago. I think I got 8000.00 for it then, but it was like new. It only had about 100 hrs on it since new and had been stored inside. The prior owner really did not get his moneys worth out of it.
