floatation tanks for a sabot

I have an old fibreglass sabot with a single flotation tank built into the bow hull. The kids capsized it and it started to sink, so I'm trying to figure out how to add flotation.

I know that portable flotation tanks can be bought for use with an optimist, but haven't been able to find anything specifically for a sabot.

Does any one have any suggestions?

thanks

Can you post some pictures of the area in question?

My Mutineer has an open bow but I've stuffed about 20 pool noodles behind the seat backs and in the transom to keep my 15 footer afloat when it's fully swamped.

I added a flotation compartment to our small boat in the bow, like the previous poster, I also placed 6 noodles out of sight under the gunwales on each side, and a giant (3ft long) yacht fender at the back of the boat tied from side to side, that doubles as a seat now, I got it for free from a friend.

I really like the fender idea! I might barrow that one and shove a few more into my bow.
