35 hp evinrude electric start -- help

I have a 1981 35 Evnirude it was a remote but controlls are gone. I have a service book but am lost. There are 8 wires in the harness but only 5 in the book i have???? I just need to know how to wire them up so I can start it. I don't need the electric choke.

The coulours are black
black / yellow
red / purple
brown
grey
white
purple
purple / white
