The motor was not pumping water out. I have replaced the water pump and propeller, still not pumping out water. Replaced gaskets also. Any ideas?

Is the motor running hot? Sometimes the cooling system is working fine, but the tell-tale ("Pee stream") is clogged. I have mud-dauber wasps around here that plug up everything with a hole in it.

when you reassembled it did you make sure you got the pick-up tube back together?

i did mine by myself and had a little trouble lining them back up together while holding the lower unit up.

did you put the water hose or compressed air to the water pick-up tube to make sure there were no blockage?
