2004 Mercruiser 5.0 MPI to 5.7 Mag Swap

I have just aquired a 2004 Sea Ray Select 220 with a 5.0 MPI and a BravoIII. The previous owner did not winterize it and it froze and cracked the block and heads. I currently have a fresh 1997 Vortec 5.7 that was originally in a Malibu ski boat. My question is, can I use this engine as a replacement for the 5.0? If so, what could be a gottcha? Does the ECU need to be reprogrammed? Does the '04 use crank and cam triggers?

I am just trying to plan out the project and see if I can use my "stout" 5.7
