1994 9.9 Yamaha

I just bought a 9.9 2 stroke Yamaha and would like to know how do I tell if it already has a 15 carb and reeds? What to look for and where do I buy if needed. I live in Windsor Ont Canada. Thanks any help is appreciated..

best I recall in that year range the only difference was the reed block assy.
the 9.9 had 2 reeds and the 15 had 3.
you will need the intake gaskets and the 15 hp reed assy.
dont expect your sled to suddenly be a rocketship. :)

Thanks RODBOLT its on a 10 ft Achilles hardbottom and well you know everyone wants a little more HP! Just that little bit is the difference of getting on plane with 2 passengers and with 9.9 in Canada we don't have to register the boat with the government until its over 9.9. Thanks....
