Power Trim Won't go up

I have a 94 5.7 liter Mercruiser 350 Magnum SR#OF147968 with a Mercruiser Alpha Outdrive.

The trim will not go up/out with the use of the throttle switch. It will however go Down/In via the switch. I can get it to raise using the trailer button. I have a Commander 3000 controller. I have already by-passed the switch and have determined the problem is after the switch connection. I have replaced both the raise and lower solenoids. I have checked the in-line fuse connections seem clean and tight.

Any suggestions?

I had the same prob, but i did what you did and it fixed mine.
Try tracing the wire's and make sure none are cut, and see if you have a signal to the relay. One of my wire's was corroded too.

I appreciate the input so far. Don the string you sent me does not seem to want to come up. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I'll keep trying.

It's a 24MB file and will take a little bit to load.

Problem resolved! With the help of the OEM Service Manual. I was able to determine the problem was the Trim Sensor, specifically a corroded wire. Thanks again for the manual Bob. I know it will come in handy again as well as this great forum!
