93 Evinrude 25hp spark plug loose

My buddy has this motor on his jon boat.... He suddenly lost power and saw that the plug had come out... he attempted to reinstall but found the threads too badly worn... What are his options for a repair?

replace the head, or have a helicoil installed. either way he is going to have to pull the head, and reinstall with a new gasket.
