I have a late 80's Mariner 150EFI Magnum. On Sunday, I was out and the motor was running perfect. I usally run around 35-3900 RMP's. I decided to run it WOT for just about 1 minute. When i began to throttle down, the engine skipped one time and then it eventually died all the way down (700 rpm's). It never regained any power over 1500 rpm's. It would however run full WOT in reverse, and trimmed all the way up with no load. What the heck??? Thanks for any help...

thanks for the reply, after reading your two eek faces i realized the problem and the boat runs better than new....

now if anyone would to actually reply with a little more help, it is greatly needed
