Default mercury 110 9.8 running on one cylinder

I have a merc 110 9.8 hp (1976) it is only running on one cylinder, i put the coil from the cylinder that not firing on the other cylinder and worked fine,
so i think the coils are okay. I am thinging it is the ignition switch or the trigger, is there any way I can test to see witch one is faulty.
thankyou

It's probably not the trigger as it's a single winding for both cyls. there a good chance it the switch box but heres the test for the system

I'm having the same problem with my 9.8. Do you get a spark on the bad cylinder if you pull the plug out and test with a gap tester?
