Hello eBayer

1987 force 85hp

for $130 i rebuild the valve body which probably fixes it.

for $160 i send you valve body and you send yours back after
swapping it out. Core deposit required.

for $200 i rebuild your motor and valve body

for $260 i send you rebuilt motor/valve body and you
send yours back after swapping out. Core deposit required.

On 2w motors there is the option of putting new gaskets
onto existing motor without rebuilding ($10). If your
motor is in good shape then new gaskets will usually add
5-10 years to its life. However, I don't offer this
service on 3w. 3W gaskets usually stick on to aluminum
and the motor ends up needing disassembly.

Are these fee's about right or can I find cheaper out there.

Most of the used tilt/trim units I have seen go about 300-400 for used working. So you need to decide if the price is right. I suppose it really depends on the condition of your unit.
