Lake had some nice smooth water tonight so decided to see where everything was prop-wise. Had full tank of gas, me and my wife and our 2 small children. Boat is 2000 Cobalt 5.0Gi with Duoprops that are currently F6 stainless. At WOT and fully trimmed out, engine was right at 5000rpm, and speed was at 52mph. Pulling me out on slalom is a chore with me at 220 pounds. How would things change if I changed to a set of F5 or F4 props? Working on getting some smart tabs as well to help with holeshot and to lower planing speed for kids on tubes. What say all you prop wizards?
