I have a 68 model 65hp with thunderbolt ignition. was running it over the weekend and everything was fine. the next day I tried to start it and it would not start. pulled of plug wire and checked for fire, nada thing. trying to find some information on checking the electrical components. Can you direct me on this matter. Thanks for any help you can supply

Hi, If this motor has a belt driven magneto on a bracket opposite the starter motor, then sometimes you had to clean the magneto, take the cap off look for water, junk etc. Just like in a car distributor.
