Hello again, I am about to replace the impeller in my merc 115....Shes all town down and I found the impeller still intact but badly worn down. It has not lost any of its vanes, but you can tell a couple were cracked and were ready to fly off at any time. In the past I have replaced the impellers in a 40 hp 402, and a Merc 500. I have had some trouble getting the shift cam correct, sometimes i'd have neutral and forward, sometimes id have nothing but forward and thats it, and sometimes id have nothing at all. With my 115, I anticaped all this and unbolted the LU and SLOWLY dropped it down w/o disturbing the shift mechanism at all.....Do you think id I be easy with it and watch what im doind that I should not have the problems with the gear functions without having to drop it again and again til its set right, or do you have any suggestions as to how I can make this go smoothly as possible - Bob
