help....

bought a 1987 225 vro johnson for my boat ,it came with a bunch of wiring and I need help figuring it out.the main red plug is connected,the plug from the tilt trim is ran inside the motor and connected,another harness is plugged in around the motor and runs up to the controls for the tilt and trim,I have another wire bunch that was cut,one end has a lot of little connectors,I'm assumming thise are gauges? the other end is cut and I can't tell where it would even go.Somebody help me or steer me in the right direction to find diagrams or such. Thanks...joe.....p.s. do I need to run a big cable from the battery to the starter soleniod?and where do I connect the ground? it didn't come with any battery cables.

you need an OEM manual, just to start. we can't tell you over the net.
