89' tracker transom

I have an 89' bass tracker and the wood in the transom is rotted out I have looked and can not see any way to replace it correctly with out cutting the welds witch i realy dont want to do so if any one knows an easyer way please let me know im replaceing every thing and this is the last obsticle before it hits the water

hi welcome to i boats...

im not a tinny guy so im not framilliar with your boat...if you post pics we can take it from there....there has to be a way to get the cap off without cutting the welds.....

id start at the corner caps and see how the deck hull joint is done.

in the nean time....search transom replacement and read the compleated projects forum......i think dj did one of those

i've searched around and cant find any info on this most every post has no rear deck in the way i will try to get some pics tomarrow been raining every day
