Default water drip into engine compartment

Bayliner 192 discovery 2006/ mercruiser 3.0L Alpha 1 135 hp, 40 hrs
This is the boat i inspected before buying it.
I found a small water leakage(drip).
Just under/at the hose connection of the alpha one gear oil reservoir.
So were the reservoir hose connects to the stern.
My question is, is it easy to fix?

.. heya Dutch. welcome to iboats. this post may stagnate a little in this forum. i'll see if we can get a moderator to place it in the mercruiser section. you have some of the best folks on the net that'll hopefully climb in and help you out.

g-luck

Smile Re: water drip into engine compartment

Thanks for your help, i thought one of you could help me out easily.
Till so far ????. So i went again true the forum replies and found first class manuals.
I understand the problem now, it was never described in the forum earlier, so probably an isolated case.
The repair is not too difficult for me so I'll buy the boat.

Your forum is a great do it your self database. Please continue.
Thanks
