I have a Humminbird 727 GPS/fishfinder but it has no charts and it can't be added. I would like some sort of GPS/Chartplotter/Fishfinder without breaking the bank. I boat in the St Johns River (Jacksonville, FL) and the intercoastal. I would like be able to see a map of where I am. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Economical GPS/Chartplotter/Fishfinder?

Just bought an Eagle Fishelite 500c off ebay a month ago. Got in on the bidding near the end and bought it for $340. About $100 less than what you would commonly pay. The unit was a year old and new in the box. I submitted my invoice to Eagle to activate the one year warranty.

So far so good. I like the features and have been learning the gps functions each time I go out. Having a 5" screen was mandatory to me.

I guess the Lowrance 520 is a similiar unit.
