So I need some input on how to mount my two bow seats. I am working on a 75 Bee Craft, 14ft tri-hull. Originally, the bow seats are both bolted in, and in order to remove them, I have to cut out all the foam under them...a pain in the neck. Once I get foam put back in, I am not about to go through all that mess again. I want to be able to remove the seats again at a later time to reupohlster them possibly.
I was thinking about the way my old motorcycle side covers were held in...just a male post held in by a rubber grommet. Also similar to a pcv valve in a valve cover. Any reason why something like that wouldn't work?
