Just picked up an old brass prop. It is a " MICHIGAN SMC 642 " (stamped on it) It measures 10" diameter - blades with a 3/4" shaft.
OK it's old. It's beautiful. Can't find a Michigan listed. It has a slight dent in one leading outer fin. I have pics.
Query: Does anyone make them out of brass anymore ? (I'm new at this)
Query: Where can I find info as to what motor(s) it was made for?
Query: How serious is the little ding? (It's otherwise a perfect old propeller.)
Query: Is it good for anything besides a paper weight? (Did I mention it's beautiful?)
