the stringers are in and they are very solid! also built a new bilge, made it bigger than the original one.

the transom glassed in and ready for carpet

the stringers glassed in . . these were tricky! i couldnt use the ones for a template because they came out in pieces!

next is to put the floor back in and put the cap back on.

the best part so far is . . . i got the hook out!! :D

Looks nice & clean... where's the bit of chrome on the front of the port side of the splashwell?

i painted that bit of silver because thats where my rod and reels lay at, and my rods scratched the original paint, so i primed it and painted it the silver, . . . and it scratched too, . . . so im trying to find something else.

Re: transom and stringer rebuild, with pics!

took it out for a test run and i am very disappointed!! it is still dragging with water spraying out at the bow, and the floor is still bulging in the back.

i dont know what else to do, the floor is not glassed in, . . its just screwed to the stringers, would it help if i glassed it in in the back? the hull is straight on the outside, but i think the hook is still forming when under power.

what can i do to fix this? it is very nerve racking!!:confused:

to add to all of that disappointment, . . . i dropped my trim pin!!
