I found what apears to be a really good deal on a high performance boat. 24 foot deep V off shore racer. Only problem is that the lower drive was stolen off the boat while in storage. First does anything sound suspicious about this and secondly what type of drive should be purchased for this engine. I'm thinking a bravo I but dont know HP of engine yet. I have seen several different ratios for the Bravo I's and am wondering whiich would be best for certain HP ranges. Don't know anything about this and would love to hear from some pro's.

This will be a barking boat for speed and show not for towing or anything like that. Thirdly what type of prop should be used for the HP ranges typical for these engines and drive combinations?

Thanks in advance

You may have to head over to OffShoreOnly.com or ScreamandFly.com or Hotboat.com and ask around, that is a different class of drive than most pleasure boats will have a need for. That whole boat is high performance and will have a competely different operating environment than more common sterndrive boats.

O.K. deal or no deal......?

If you don't know what it is, then it would be a "NO DEAL" situaltion. Since you don't have a clue what it actually is, is there actually any drives available for it??? I sure don't know from your info.
You can only stick a Bravo drive on a Bravo transom shield, and you haven't shown a picture of Bravo anything yet.
