Need a flywheel key for a 1973 johnson outboard easy to find part? New to outboards any help would be appreciated

If you do not have a part number yet, check out this site to determine what you need. This is the manufacturer's site.

After getting the part number, you can also purchase from the manufacturer (if available) or look at one of the many online marine parts sites (including iBoats).

P.S. You didn't mention the model number in you post.
