1969 Evinrude 55hp ignition switch

Prior owner of the boat removed the ignition switch so I need to replace it. Motor is a 69 55hp model #55973A electric shift. Looking at the manual wiring diagram it looks like I could use a 3 lead switch. Is this correct? The diagram shows a 4 lead switch but it appears that 2 leads come off the Ing, 1off S and 1 off Bat.

My diagram shows a 3 terminal switch with one red to bat, one white to st, and 4 purple to ign.

Thanks. My diagram shows a similair layout just was confused by the 2 screws on the ing. It has the 4 puples going to ing just two on each screw.
