need alarm for 50 yamaha

I recently purchased a 2004 50TLRC. I had the dealer install a tiller kit. Will I get an alarm for low oil or overheating? If not, can this be done with tiller? THANKS , this site ROCKS!!

Sorry, first post is confusing. What I need to know is where is the actual alarm (warning signal) located? This motor was originally on another boat and set up with remote steering. Motor now has a tiller and is on my boat. All original controls obviously stayed with the other boat. So if I encounter a problem (overheat or low oil), will I get an alarm or did I loose alarm capability by changing to a tiller? If I have no alarm, can it be set up? If I do have alarm, how do I check to see if it works?
