New boat need help identifying model

Hello to All,
I recently bought a used boat, it is a 16' 1978 crestliner, the registration say it has a 90 hp motor but it now has a 115 hp evinrude motor. I am trying to find out the model, the vin is CRL77504M78G I am trying to find out the model so I can get parts for it and I need to find out the weight of the boat to see if my ford ranger pickup will tow it. I have a 2000 lbs weight limit on my truck. I contacted Crestliner but there records do not go back that far. Just wondering if anyone can help me find out what model it is.

If the thing isn't waterlogged you shouldn't have trouble towing it with your truck. I towed my 16' with my car for a year or two without too much issue though I wouldn't recommend that.

What parts are you looking for? Boat manufacturers change their designs very frequently and they don't usually have much in the way of parts support for more than a couple years. Windshields are particularly troublesome to find replacements for. The good news is they use a lot of standard parts so you should be able to find what you need here on iboats or similar sites.
