When you say hose bolt. Do you mean the fitting??
If thats the case, then they make a thing called an EZ-OUT.
Since there is already a hole in the broken fitting you dont need to drill.
There are different sizes of course, but it has a reverse thread on it.
So as you screw it in the existing hole, in reverse to remove the piece, it gets tighter and eventually in a perfect world, knocks the threads loose and wa-la, you're back in business after a trip to home depot for a new fitting for the piston and a compression fitting to join the two pieces of tubing back together.
