Selling my Johnson 60HP but no idea what year nor how much

I have a well-serviced and running Johnson 60HP outboard model # is J60ECNM but have no idea what year it was made and accordingly no idea how much I should ask to sell used privately. Pls advise as I am currently negotiating for a 170HP inboard boat and motor. Thanx a bunch and happy anglin'.

It would help a whole bunch if you filled in your profile so other members could see what part of the country you are in. Prices can vary in different regions.

$500-1,000. depending on conditions, maintenance, location. and if controls go with it. which they should.

Thanx for the welcome....I did update my profile so pls check....I am in Northern Ontario (Timmins), Canada. Was hoping for ~$1500? Pls advise and thanx for the quick reply.
