On a Fling 115 OMC with the VRO output line in a container how much fuel should be pumped while cranking?
Also while cranking should you be able to stop the flow of fuel with your thumb over the fuel line? or would this be an indication of a weak pump?

Re: Fling jetdrive 115 omc-VRO Output question

The fuel pump fills the float bowls at the bottom of each carburetor. The pistons create a vacuum which pulls the fuel from the float bowls through the carburetors and into the engine.

It takes very little pressure for a pump to move fuel from the tank to the float bowls - about 1 to 3 psi.

Print the chart at the following link to test the fuel pump: http://www.maxrules.com/graphics/vropics/VROflowchart.JPG
