99 merc 25hp 2stoke-Bogs-Advice needed

I have a 99 2 stroke mercury 25 hp Starts and idles first pull shifts int gear and trolls as soon as you give it throttle bogs and dies....If you pull primer knob it will go....Runs mint at all rpms except inititial goose of the throttle get past that and your fine.
Any Ideas?

my motor is 30 years older than yours but this exact thing happened to me and it was the idle mixture. if it's running lean, it will bog when you give it throttle - in gear, in the water. mine always ran fine in the bucket or on muffs.

Going to test the carb tuning today... (bring a screwdriver on board if you end up having to do this!)

Did you guy's ever get to the bottom of your problem, I have exactly the same problem on a 2004 25hp 2 stroke. It has done it since new.
