what to do? have water on all 4 plugs

Took the boat out started it went to drop trailer came back and was dead in the water.I never could get it to stay runnin. I then took plugs out to check them noticed they were sort of milky white lookin i assumed water all four plugs were that way . the motor is a 1974 johnson 85hp 2 stroke any help with what to do would be greatly appeciated. thanks

you got a gasket blown, or worse a cracked block. could there have been water in the fuel tank.

it would be almost imposable if both head gaskets went at the same time . but anything can happen.more likely is your exhaust cover gaskets are leaking. thats the cover plate between the heads.

also took my water filter off and poured it in clear container and could see the water separate from fuel on top

If the water was separated in the tank, you may have pulled enough in to fill the float bowls. Drain the float bowls and try to get some oil in the engine as soon as possible. Use a portable tank with fresh oil/gas mix. Spray some fogging oil in the spark plug holes and run it straight through the carburetor throats while cranking.
