I have a 1971 Evinrude 50 HP outboard that at the end of last season was runing great. I was getting good power and speed from it pushing a 17'' deep V boat. This season from the very beginning I have lost about half of the speed at full throttle. The motor runs good and seems to obtain full RPM from the sound of it but the speed and drop dramaticlly. I thought that hub was spun so I replaced the prop with a new one but still no change in obtaining and significate speed. I have check the screen thinking a fuel line clog but it is clear. HELP!!!
