I am wanting to take the carb off of this motor but can't without first taking off the flywheel. How do I remove the nut that is holding the flywheel on? When I turn the nut, the flywheel moves in the direction I am turning. The repair manual I have refers to a "flywheel puller" tool. Where could I purchase this tool?

you need a big strap wrench to hold the flywheel, harmonic balancer puller, grade 8 hardened bolts to fit flywheel, you will also need a torque wrench to retorque the nut when you reinstall flywheel. should be an easier way to get the carb off.

Pneumatic impact wrench, a strong one, will remove the nut. Thats all I use in the shop.
