how and where to mount fishfinder on pontoon boat

Just purchased a 24ft pontoon, which doesn't have a fishfinder. I purchased a Garmin, but as I was looking over the directions and positions to install the transducer, I ran into a road block.Can anyone give me any directions..

there probably exists somewhere a person who can help you, but the probably of that person having the ability to read your mind is slim.
