hot wire to the voltage regs burnt , both regs look black and windings in the stator look fried. would still be burning if i did not disconnect the battery.
happened while idleing from the dock after about a 5 min. run on the lake.
Is this common. The stator was replaced (cdi 174-9610k2) in 03 when I got the boat and the tack as not been working in the last couple weeks. do I need to replace the switch boxes also
