What Year Is My 4.5 Merc?

My 4.5 serial # is: 7081387......does anyone know what year it is?.....also it is not spitting any water out when it's running so I'm looking for step-by-step instructions on replacing the impeller.........thanks

According to Merc Europe, That could be last year 4.5 manufactured in US - 1985.

Last year for 4.5hp was 1986 -Belgium

I don't know much about outboards, but my 4.5 merc is 1985. Little guy still runs excellent.

Pretty much why I am buyin only mercury for my next whip...
