I have a friend that has a 1987 bayliner capri. As mentioned in the title it has a 3.0 omc or g.m. motor in it. Everything has been rebuilt on the from paint to the bottom of the motor. The orginial owners replaced the points distrubtor with electronic ignition box. We started testing wires with a ohm meter. The motor gound is good etc. But we tested the HOT side of the coil and it also ohmed out. So there is a electrical prob some where. Does anyone know were i can get a wiring diagram for this boat with the electronic ign box conversion. Or does anyone know the correct procedure for hooking the electronic ign box up.. Were not sure how it hooks up but no its not right..Thanx
