Don't buy this product!

After installing it on my 9.9MHXT, 1995, I removed it in about one minute with the lock installed. I bet the engine thieves howl when the see these!

locks simply tend to keep honest folk honest, doesnt matter whats locked,house,car or outboard locks just help honest folk stay that way. doesnt slow determined theif down much. best you can hope for is it makes it to time consuming to mess with.
ya gotta remember, if they actually had 2 brain cells most theives would work.

I hear ya! Really, it was a joke how fast I got that lock bar off. My 18 year old neice could have done it in the same amount of time and she's a couch potato!
