Exhaust Shutter

Ok, I like nothing more than doing things twice. I was talking to a friend about the motor swap and he asked if I checked the exhaust shutters when I replaced the motor. I said no, I didn't remeber seeing them during the install.... So i pulled the manifolds and found the metal part but the flaps are gone on both sides.

Here is where my question lies.. In looking it up i found I need 807166A2.

Looking Around here I can't find that. A local mechanic is trying to sell me 807166A3. He says they moved to that design. Will that work?

1997 4.3lx (Gen +) 2BBl.

I believe thats the latest version. I just bought a kit this morning to replace mine. They don't look anything like the old version $57 for kit

please let me know how they work out for you. i saw the A3 version and it looks like it fits the ones with the pins, not the square grommets. the new version is half the price of the A2.
