I just bought this older motor and the prop is beat up, was wondering if it alright to take the grinder to and reshape the profile? Also, if i have to get a new one, which prop would be good for the lakes/ocean. Thanks

Take it to a balancer who can nip off the crud and balance it properly at the same time. an unbalanced prop will ruin your gearbox.

thanks for the advice, i think i'll get this older one refurbished to use in the rivers and then get another prop for the ocean/lakes
