Another Fuel Restriction Alarm

I have a 1994 115 Johnson on a Sunbird. The alarm I am getting is after the boat reaches plane and begins to roll, I get an audible alarm that stays on. The boat pulls strong, has water coming out of the exhaust and pee hole (water pump and impeller recently replaced). Once I slow down and cruise, the alarm will go off. Mounted on the dash is an explanation of alarms - "A continuous alarm will sound at or near WOT if there is a fuel restriction". I checked gas and oil hoses - ok, new fuel filter. I read in a similar post of a possible cause being a vacuum switch - cannot find that in my Clymer manual. Any other ideas?
Thanks.

just because you have a constant tale tell stream, does not mean the thermostat is opening and cooling the motor. just indicates the water pump is working. could be clogged fuel tank vent. air leak in fuel line.

A 1994 115 outboard does not have a fuel restriction warning sensor. Did someone install the system?

Re: Another Fuel Restriction Alarm

Good advice - if no fuel restriction alarm I need to find the overheat problem. Will look at thermostat first.

Thanks
