Default buying a used boat

have a chance to buy a 22 ft hurricane fun deck but can't decide between a 1992 evinrude 140 horse v4 version or a 1991 omc 5.8 litre cobra i/0. Any advise would be helpful. The outboard boat is $4999 and the inboard is $6500. Which will give the best and most economical service for years to come. I live in MN.
Thanks,

The 5.8 liter cobra sounds like a Ford 351 engine with the OMC outdrive. It would be much harder to find parts for that combo - and someone to work on it - than the outboard. That, plus the price difference... go with the outboard. Easy decision.

That's if those are your only two options.
