stalls in holeshot under load

I am new to boating and was wondering about the question above. The motor is a 79 115 merc. on a 17' deep v. When not pulling there is no hesitation and launches like a rocket. I tried playing with the trim and made no cerrection to the problem. Any I DE EARS!!!
