After the boat sits overnight the primer bulb will be mostly empty. Is the primer bulb supposed to stay hard (full) overnight?

don't worry about it losing pressure overnight. if it holds all day, it's good.

although, camping trip couple weeks ago, I primed the line to launch and it held until we loaded 3 days later. I was a little bit surprised......
